The Scheme subsides part of the salary costs of staff, as an incentive for employers to hire unemployed who will work in various forms of teleworking.

The Subsidy Scheme is included in the Recovery and Resilience Plan and funded by the Recovery and Resilience mechanism, the central tool of NextGenerationEU, the temporary means of funding the EU recovery and exit from the crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
